Debbie Osgood Quoted in Report Issued by U.S. Commission on Civil Rights on Hate Crimes
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (USCCR) has issued their report: “In the name of Hate: Examining the Federal Government’s Role in Responding to Hate Crimes”. The Commission held a full-day public briefing in May, 2018 where HMBR Partner, Debbie Osgood, was a panelist at the briefing and spoke before the USCCR. Debbie’s statement to the Commission stresses the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Right’s important role in intensely enforcing the protections against harassment in our federal civil rights law.
