George P. Sellis

George Sellis, is a Partner at Hogan Marren Babbo & Rose, Ltd., who joined the firm in September 2017. Mr. Sellis provides a wide range of services to corporate and institutional clients, with a focus on contract drafting and corporate issues. He has a broad base of experience in commercial transactions, regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Mr. Sellis has assisted with regulatory matters ranging from ISDA derivatives compliance to corporate medical licensing. He has extensive experience in corporate governance issues having assisted entities on four continents as well as multiple U.S. jurisdictions. Since joining HMBR, Mr. Sellis has worked with a number of educational institutions with accreditation compliance issues intrinsic in the merger or acquisition of new institutions.
Prior to joining HMBR, Mr. Sellis clerked for the Honorable Deborah Mary Dooling in the Circuit Court of Cook County Law Division and served as in-house counsel for an international shipping conglomerate. While clerking, he assisted the court with issues ranging from aviation accidents and mass tort cases to surety company authorization. During his time as in-house counsel, Mr. Sellis managed international maritime commercial arbitrations and negotiated agreements with entities worldwide.
